When did you start working in the company? What were your previous experiences (evolution in the company or outside)?
I joined Symrise in 2011 as General Manager in Thailand. At that time I was living in China and working for a small French company doing PVC compounding and extrusion in Guangdong. My main experience before joining Symrise was in retail business where I spend 2 years in Intermarché central buying office as buyer for the Hot Drink Portfolio before moving to Shanghai where I handled Asia Pac Food purchasing with offices in various countries in Asia, buying canned fruit & vegetable, frozen seafood and commodities like coffee or rice. After 5 years in Thailand for Symrise, I moved to France in 2016 as GM for EMEA Aqua Business. My job was mainly to focus on developing the salmon Norwegian business that did not exist at that time. In 2021, I took a new position within the Aqua organistaion as Marketing & Strategic Development director.

About my working environment, working in SAF allowed me to discover the range of aquaculture, a key food sector to feed the world in a sustainable way.
What do you enjoy most about your job?
I really enjoy being in touch with very different people with different cultures and background, all in a very positive mindset. Aquaculture is evolving fast and sustainability is becoming a critical topic. We have a great role to play here with natural and efficient solutions and I am proud to be a part of that story.
