When did you start working in the company? What were your previous experiences (evolution in the company or outside)? :

I started at Symrise in 2020 with a 6-month internship followed by a permanent contract. It's my first job after my studies, during which I also did internships in accounting and cost control.

Could you describe your job?

The aim of cost control is to carry out economic, financial and forecasting analyses to implement the strategy laid down by the unit's management.

Could you tell us what is a typical day as a « Financial and Costs Controller »?

There is no typical day, but rather a typical month. The main task is the monthly financial closing. Ensuring that all data has been consolidated and providing all necessary analysis for strategy meetings. The beginning of the month is also influenced by sales forecasts, providing data and producing reports for sales reviews. Other tasks are added to my work, linked to human resources costs or the monitoring of operational expenses.

What has your experience at Symrise Aqua Feed been so far?

I'm happy to be part of Symrise Aqua Feed. It's a great experience to be able to start with different missions on various subjects the variety of missions, and the international dimension of the activity with several factories around the world.

What do you enjoy most about your job?
My colleagues of course.

What are your passions in life?

Most of the time, I try to be with my family or spend quality time with my friends. I like to travel, either with them or on my own. I have a few passions like sport, mainly football, although I watch more on TV than I play. I also like cars and watches.
