Could you describe your job?

As a former technician I had to give preventive and corrective maintenance to the equipment in the plant and support failures that occur during the process to ensure the safety of personnel and machines.
Today, I coordinate our technicians and supervise the field work. Moreover, I have to plan preventive maintenance and spare parts purchase in order to prevent any accident or outages.

I am skilled in a different areas such as plumbing, carpentry, and electrical systems.

When did you join the company?

I have been part of the company for 3 years. Before that, I used to work in the sugar industry in the area of automation. Working at Symrise has allowed me to evolve, both professionally and personally, and I am grateful that I have gained a lot of knowledge about the safety aspect.

Could you tell us what is a typical day as a “Maintenance Supervisor Aqua Feed”?

I don't really have a typical day, every day is unique. I have to carry out regular inspections, plan for maintenance and manage our technicians team. I also purchase of spare parts and check out our machines' statuts.

What has your experience at Symrise Aqua Feed been so far?

Working at Symrise is a great experience. I have gained a lot of knowledge by working and sharing with new teams in various projects led by the company.

What do you enjoy the most about your job?

I love that my job is a constant source of surprise. I have the chance to work every day for what I am passionate about, in a very nice work environment. 

What are your passions in life?

I like spending time with my family, practicing sports like mountain biking and going out to discover new places.
