When did you start working in the company? What were your previous experiences (evolution within the company or outside)?
I started working on September 2, 2015 at Symrise Aqua Feed Costa Rica. In my previous experiences, I worked in metallurgy plants and food & beverage plants. I stayed in the area of Industrial Maintenance before joining Symrise Aqua Feed.
Could you describe your job?
I am in charge of leading an excellent work group that has 3 maintenance technicians and a building maintenance technician. We are a group that seeks continuous improvement and encourages teamwork. I am also starting a new project where I will have the responsibility of seeking greater growth with new suppliers and a greater focus on the Product-Process and Projects.
Could you tell us what is a typical day as a “Technical Manager & Maintenance Management ”?
I do review plant status, review pending maintenance, preventive & corrective plans and mainly maintenance tasks. I also do quotes and purchases of spare parts, monitor work orders and check KPIs. Moreover, I actively participate in meetings for group works.
In maintenance a typical day is a learning experience, every day you learn something new.
How has your experience at Symrise Aqua Feed been so far?
The experience of belonging to the group has been excellent. I feel fulfilled to be part of Symrise Group. It is essential to know that you are working in a company that has strong commitments to the environment, nature and people.
What do you enjoy the most about your job?
I like being able to learn every day. I also have the opportunity to work and see instant results which is very motivating.
What are your passions in life?
I am passionate about motorcycles and I love playing with my children. I enjoy life in general.

I like working with wood, I really enjoy being in contact with Nature.
