When did you start working in the company? What were your previous experiences (evolution within the company or outside)?

I started in May 2017 as an Exportation Coordinator and evolve to Logistic Chief on the same year. Before, I worked in exportations department at Santa Priscila and purchasing department at Tropack.

Could you describe your job?  

I organize and supervise the correct delivery of products to local and external customers with coordination along the rest of the team in order to satisfy the customer needs. Also, there is the coordination of transport in order to pick up the raw material from the suppliers, transfer it to the plant under safe conditions and within the timeframe agreed upon during production planning.

Additionally, I support as a teamwork with Quality and R&D the regulatory process by coordinating and reviewing documentation to register our products locally and in other countries.

Could you tell us what is a typical day as a «Logistic Chief»?

I start my day by checking the tasks listed the day before. Then, I check the local coordination of the raw material and organize the rest of the day according to the requirements of the daily check of my e-mails.

What has your experience at Symrise Aqua Feed been so far?

There is no time to get bored! There is always something new to learn from the team and the work itself.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

The challenges that stand out. I have never imagined that during these years I would learn so much about the aquaculture market, even if I came from a shrimp factory, including their process, application and regulatory requirements to be met. I also enjoy working with this great team!

What are your passions in life?

I spend time with my beloved ones, either travelling, watching a series or just going for a walk. I think we never spend too much time with the people we love.

Could you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

I love cooking! I consider myself as a creative chef, it’s a way to release the stress and a perfect way to show my love to the people I care about.
