When did you start working in the company? What were your previous experiences?  

I started working at Symrise in September 2022 as Symrise Aqua Feed’s Quality Manager for the Ecuadorian industrial site. After graduating, I started working in a certified analytical laboratory as a Junior Analyst, then worked in the food industry: Quality Analyst, Supervisor and Quality Manager. 

Could you describe your job? 

The aim is to ensure product quality and meet the requirements of customers and government organizations. 

Could you tell us what is a typical day as a « Quality Chief »? 

As part of my duties, I have a variety of responsibilities, one of which is to ensure that our products meet quality requirements in line with customer and regulatory expectations, in addition to verifying compliance with various related activities, including customer audits and special requests, as well as certification audits.  

In addition, I work closely with other departments: production, R&D, purchasing, etc. to evaluate new raw materials, ingredients and materials for use in products. 

What has your experience at Symrise Aqua Feed been so far? 

My experience at Symrise has been very good overall. I have felt welcomed from day one and feel part of a great team. I am very happy and grateful to learn something new every day and to be part of the company's development. 

What do you enjoy most about your job? 

I like the variety of tasks, which means I always have something to do and learn, so I never lose interest. 

What are your passions in life? 

I love to sing and dance, which is important for my well-being. 

Could you tell us a fun fact about yourself? 

I can eat a lot, so much so that I won the family eating contest. People are surprised by how much I can eat despite my small body.
