When did you start working in the company?

I have been working with Symrise Aqua Feed since August 2022.

What were your previous experiences (evolution in the company or outside)?

I worked in the horse industry as a Veterinarian and Business Development Manager for global Horsefeed brands in Indonesia.

Could you describe your job?

• Identify, research and contact potential customers.
• Maintain customer relationships.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business.
• Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business.
• Prepare and submit sales contracts and monitor project teams to ensure contracts are executed as agreed.
• Manage the end-to-end sales process.

Could you tell us what is a typical day as a « Business Development Manager »?

As a Business Development Manager, we don't just stay in the office, but have flexible time to meet with customers and partners.
In general, I communicate with customers to manage orders, forecasts, shipments and logistics plans, etc., in order to maintain good customer relations.

For internal meetings, I usually have a weekly meeting with my team in Indonesia and a weekly meeting with my boss to discuss business news and forecasts. Monthly meetings are organized with the APAC teams to review activities in each country or region and market conditions,

Weekly meetings are organized with partners to review activities, production, R&D quality control, shipments and logistics.

As a Business Development Manager, you'll also need to come up with bright ideas and innovations to implement new projects to grow the business in terms of valuations and market share. Work as Business Development very dynamic job and always fun !

Happy to have a great team and I'm very comfortable working with them. Lots of transparency, good teamwork.
