When did you start working in the company? What were your previous experiences (evolution in the company or outside)?

I joined Symrise Aqua Feed in February 2020 in R&D APAC Aqualis Technician position, I have been in the same position for 2 years and 4 months and was promoted to R&D APAC Aqualis Manager position in July 2022.  Prior to that, I worked within Koventure company, Bangkok as a Technical Sales Representative for 2 years and before that I worked at Fisheries science department of King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang, Bangkok, Thailand as Research Assistance for 2 years.   

Could you describe your job?

According to my current position as R&D APAC Aqualis Manager, I manage AQUALIS Thailand, AQUALIS team and related stakeholders and also, report and develop the AQUALIS Thailand research trials, support further testing projects with research facilities in the APAC region.

Could you tell us what is a typical day as a « R&D Aqualis APAC Manager »?

My daily work begins with team briefing, distribution and assignment of tasks to my team. Then I double-check all the equipment and testing system to make sure everything is ready and working properly and safely at all times. Then I work at my desk to plan the trials and track my team's tasks to apply the data for analysis and reporting. Before the day is over, I double-check all the tasks at hand and finish everything.

What has your experience at Symrise Aqua Feed been so far?

I learned the methods of creating innovation to grow our business and have more knowledge and experiences on how to manage teamwork well.

What do you enjoy most about your job?

I am really happy to have challenging jobs because it helps me learn and I will be proud if I achieve this successfully. What I like the most is also seeing my staff enjoy and be satisfied with their work every day.

What are your passions in life?

I like to sleep to rest my mind and I also like the sea to relax on the beach with my family.

Could you tell us a fun fact about yourself?

Even though I work in the field of water and aquaculture every day, I am always afraid of drowning in the sea.
